Winter Wow Winds Down as Cary Transitions to Resume Normal Operations
Winter Storm Fern has left, and Cary is scaling its response to transition back to normal operations – thanks in large part to the quick work of its A-Team. Curbside collection is delayed by one day this week and may begin as late as 10 a.m. each day, out of an abundance of caution for our equipment and staff. Cary 311 has resumed normal operations, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All staffed facilities, including Cary Town Hall, community centers, cultural arts center, Downtown Cary Park's Bark Bar, Market 317, and the Citizens' Convenience Center, have all reopened. GoCary's fixed-route and door-to-door Tier 1 services have resumed. Read the full details in our most recent news release.
2026 Biennial Survey
Every two years, Cary issues a citizen satisfaction survey to a group of randomly selected citizens to gauge its effectiveness in its mission and measure overall citizen confidence in town operations. Starting January 12, consultants working on behalf of the Town of Cary will contact citizens and ask questions on safety, service, communications, transportation, recreation, and the environment. Click here to learn more about past citizen summaries and complete reports.
