Pickleball Universityis heading outdoors! Beginning in Fall 2026, classes will include the outdoor courts at Neighborhood Park at McCrimmon and will be held on Tuesdays. The fall session will run from September through November, giving participants the opportunity to learn and improve their skills in a great outdoor setting.

Build Your DUPR is one of my favorite ways to play. With only up to12 players, it feels like an exclusive open gym where you're constantly on the court.

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Assistant to help support the continued growth of our pickleball programs. Working closely with the current Pickleball team and Community Supervisor at Middle Creek, this role provides administrative and logistical support for leagues, tournaments, classes, and special events throughout Cary.
Responsibilities include coordinating schedules and program logistics, maintaining records, assisting with registrations, communicating with participants and instructors, and ensuring instructors have the equipment and supplies needed to deliver high-quality programs. This position plays a key role in keeping our pickleball operations running smoothly while enhancing the participant experience.
This is a part-time, non-benefited, year-round position, up to 20 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours per year.
Evening and weekend availability is required depending on program schedules. Preference will be given to candidates who possess prior knowledge or experience with pickleball or any other racquet-based sports and strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
On Friday, Jul 24 - Middle Creek Community Center screened the new Apple TV movie, The Dink to more than 60 pickleball enthusiasts! It was a night to remember, that included Popcorn, Prizes, Punch and Pickleball! What a fun night! Friends gathered together to enjoy a great movie, delicious food, and plenty of good conversation. From sharing laughs (which there were many) to enjoying tasty bites, it was the perfect way to relax, connect, and make memories together. A big thank-you to everyone who joined us, and to our amazing staff who work behind the scenes to bring these events together. Your support and hard work helped make Movie Night such a fun success! Dusty "the Hammer" Boyd, a washed up tennis pro is desperate for a win. On a quest to save his fathers struggling country club and earn his father's respect, Dusty breaks a sacred vow and does the unthinkable: play pickleball.
