Around Town

Shadow or No Shadow, the Storm’s in the Rearview as Cary Operations Move Toward Normal

With Winter Storm Gianna in the rearview mirror, shadow or no shadow, Cary is shifting gears and scaling back its response, thanks in large part to the swift work of the A+ Team and a forecast calling for above-freezing temperatures by Wednesday. Curbside collection is delayed by one day this week. Cary Town Hall and all staffed facilities have returned to normal operation. Go Cary's fixed-route and Tier 1 door-to-door service has resumed. Read the full details in our most recent news release.

2026 Biennial  Survey

Every two years, Cary issues a citizen satisfaction survey to a group of randomly selected citizens to gauge its effectiveness in its mission and measure overall citizen confidence in town operations. Starting January 12, consultants working on behalf of the Town of Cary will contact citizens and ask questions on safety, service, communications, transportation, recreation, and the environment. Click here to learn more about past citizen summaries and complete reports.
