Know the Difference: E-Bike vs. E-Motorcycle
During Bike Month, Cary reminds riders to know the difference between an e-bike and an e-motorcycle. E-bikes are pedal-assisted bicycles designed for roads, bike lanes, and greenways, while e-motorcycles are faster motorized vehicles that require registration, insurance, and a driver’s license and are not allowed on Cary greenways. Knowing the difference helps keep everyone safe and ensures riders follow local rules and trail guidelines. Learn more about bike safety, trail etiquette, and e-bike regulations to help keep Cary’s roads and greenways safe for everyone.
