Public Works Annual Snow Rodeo

Cary Public Works crews are gearing up for winter weather during the annual Snow Rodeo on Oct. 16. Staff will practice using plows, salt spreaders, brining equipment, and loose leaf collection vehicles to prepare for the months ahead. You may see loose leaf trucks practicing in neighborhoods before the regular collection season begins Nov. 2. These practice runs do not count as the first round of collection; crews will return when the official season begins. Learn more about Cary’s winter weather preparations and loose leaf collection by reading our latest news release.

GoCary Door to Door Program Study

GoCary is seeking community input as part of a study exploring ways to keep its Door to Door service responsive and sustainable as demand continues to grow. Current and potential riders, caregivers, family members, advocates, and others familiar with the service are encouraged to complete the survey online or on paper in English or Spanish by Oct. 22. Learn more and take the survey by visiting GoCary.org/D2DStudy.
